• เส้นทางรถไฟที่สร้างเพิ่มขึ้นรวมกันในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 7 และ รัชกาลที่ 8 เพียง 677 กิโลเมตร

• ต่อมาในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 7 ได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น "สมาคม ไว.เอ็ม.ซี.เอ. กรุงเทพฯ" โดยได้รับพระราชอุปถัมภ์จากสมเด็จพระราชบิดาฯ กรมหลวงสงขลานครินทร์
